Wide Brim Hats: Ditch The Skip-Sunblock Excuses

We all love the Australian blazing sun, but we also know how dangerous for our skin it can be. Good news is that there are many quick and easy ways to protect our skin from the unhealthy ultra-violet rays, but bad news is that many of us do not practice any of them, as we stick to our skip-sunblock excuses.

I believe that many of you will find themselves in some of the following excuses that we usually use as a sort of justification for our irresponsible behaviour when it comes to basic skin protection.

  • 'Sunblock Makes My Skin Look Greasy When Worn Under Makeup'
Okay, maybe you are right, but that is only because you have chosen the wrong sunblock. Do you know that there is a broad-spectrum of quality sunblocks with the needed SPF (sun protection factor) value that will perfectly fit to your makeup? Well, absolutely yes. You should do a bit of research and find one. Look for sunblock brands that are highly recommended by renowned dermatologists.

  • 'Sunblock Irritates My Sensitive Skin'
I totally agree that not all sunscreens are suitable for every type of skin. If you still cannot find the right sunscreen for you, do not be desperate, because you still can enjoy the beautiful, sunny days on the beach. Have you ever thought that wearing a wide brim hat can protect your skin from the sun? Get yourself a big, good-looking ladies wide brim hat, that apart from giving you a stunning and admiring look, will also protect your face and shoulders from the dangerous UV rays.

  • 'I Do Not Have Time To 'Oil' Myself From The Neck Down'
It is sad, but only 15% of women have the habit of using sunscreen on a daily basis. The truth is, most of women who are chained to their office desks are not aware of the true fact that the chronic exposure to ultra-violet rays even through windows, can damage the skin. This is why it is not required to put sunscreen just on the face and neck area, but on hands and legs as well.

  • 'Wearing Sunblock During My Outdoor Workout Makes Me Feel Sticky'
Believe it or not, but outdoor working out can be much more dangerous than getting fit behind closed doors. I know that pleasure is bigger when working out under the open sky, but if you prefer the outdoors for your physical activities, wearing a sunscreen with the proper SPF value is a must-do thing.
